Savannah- Bette Barstow Kalwitz, 88, passed away Wednesday, March 14, 2012
She is survived by her sons, Kurt Kalwitz and his wife Carol of Savannah and Kent Kalwitz of Algonquin, IL. Her husband, George Walter Kalwitz preceded her in death.
A private Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
The family wishes to thank the staff of Marshview Senior Living and Hospice Savannah for the kind and considerate care extended to Mrs. Kalwitz.

I am sorry to hear of your mother's passing. It is hard to believe that I just found out about your mother as I happened to be searching for you, Kurt. I don't know what prompted me to search - I rarely if ever search for anyone. You guys were such good neighbors and I have a lot of memories of all the fun we had as kids. I see that your Dad died a little over a year ago. I pray that you are doing well and healthy.
